In the early Seventies three astronauts were sent on a secret mission on the moon. Two of them, Ben Anderson and Nate Walker, land on the surface while a third, John Grey (Ryan Robbins of SANCTUARY) stays in orbit. But they are not alone. Something is leaving tracks and even moves the flag. Then they come across the body of a dead Russian cosmonaut and eventually find his capsule. It looks as if there was a struggle and there's blood everywhere. Then Walker gets attacked and taken over by an insect-like creature, much to the dismay of Anderson, who is in close quarters with him. They eventually get the creature out and kill it. Things escalate and Anderson calls back to Earth for help-- but the aliens are the reason they sent them on the mission to begin with...
This is definitely one of the better "found footage" faux documentaries and I was impressed how they made everything look like 70's archive film. Highly recommended.
