Kelly (Ashley Greene of the Twilight movies) and her boyfriend, Ben, are being haunted in their new home but a malicious spirit. But why? It turns out that Ben was part of a college parapsychology experiment and they had summoned something from "the other side". Everyone has been killed except for Ben and his friend Patrick, who we learn has been living in an electrically protected environment that has managed to keep the spirit at bay.
This is a haunting movie, similar in tone to Paranormal Activity, though not shot from a "point-of-view" (thank god). Nothing new here but it's put together well and there's enough jolts to make it entertaining.
