Could this be the best horror film made in Connecticut? Hell if I know, it was a damn riot though, I'll say that much. It's also known as Hell Island and for good reason, a group of dipshits become stranded on a remote island (the coast of a CT beach?) and proceed to be attack by the horrid beast creatures. They're like a foot and half tall, sound like two cats thrown into a sack together, and pretty much whoop ass on these castaways. Yeah, it's silly fun, but I liked it better than Castaway. The characters will leave you dumbfounded at their lameness. The attacks though, that's where it's at here pilgrims. Some gore, some laughs, some very bad acting during these intense, taut scenes. The twist ending will leave you spellbound and breathless, asleep if you're too liberal with the beers. Really you're gonna need to see this for yourself to get the true Beast Creatures experience. Feels like a Bill Rebane film to me.
