I couldn't decide which lead actor was homelier - Jonathan LaPaglia (SEVEN DAYS) or Amber Benson (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER). Larry Drake (DARKMAN, DARK NIGHT OF THE SCARECROW, DR GIGGLES) always portrays a great villain and he doesn't fail here with his over-the-top performance. The computer generated - or I should say, CARTOON, Griffin is anything but ferocious and has to be among the lamest cgi creatures I've ever seen in a movie. ATTACK OF THE GRIFFIN is really an ATTACK OF THE BAD BAD MOVIE.
