BACKWOODS (not to be confused with a dozen other movies with the same name) begins with a transvestite having sex and then giving birth, 30 years later, to a full-sized man. Yes, he/she was pregnant for thirty years--and yes, it's an anal birth. Because of the long gestation period this "baby/man", named Luthor, is born a genius. He even speaks with an English accent. Alas, this is soon undone when the mother accidently bashes his head and makes him a retard. When she's killed by a car, driven by a bunch of kids, he begins his revenge. He puts on his mother's dress and wig and systematically slaughters the irritating victims.
Technically, the movie is terrible. It's shot poorly, all the scenes are outdoors, with a horrendous voice-over and cheap video effects. It looks like it was shot on VHS. But you aren't going to watch this for production value. What you are going to watch it for is David Hayes' (MACHINED, REBORN) hilarious, over-the-top performance as the demented baby man. You will be highly entertained.
