Unfortunately, the outcome of my long awaited experience with "Bad Biology" is, perhaps, swayed by the fact that I just watched the exploitation homage "Pervert!" about a week ago and I think killer dongs are starting to lose their appeal. That said, it's hard not to enjoy a Frank Hennenlotter film (unless it happens to be called "Basket Case 3") and this one just so happens to be his triumphant return to directing after a 17 year absence. Was "Bad Biology" worth the wait? Yes and no...
The story here is pure Hennenlotter nastiness and balls-out absurdity. We're first introduced to a woman whose first line is "I was born with seven clitorises". As it turns out, that's not as awesome at it sounds. She explains her story through narration - all about how she grew up with massive menstrual cycles and would succumb to involuntary orgasms numerous times a day. Now, she's a total slut - fucking any guy she meets and usually killing him within the course of her sexual climax. After each lay, she births a deformed baby within two hours... They typically end up in garbage cans. Once her character's bizarre handicaps are thoroughly touched upon, the movie shifts over to a young man with his own problem: a giant steroid addicted cock with a mind of it's own! Could this be a match made in heaven (or... HELL)?
Not sure why, exactly, but "Bad Biology" just didn't live up to my expectations which were, of course, at their highest. I couldn't expect anything more from Hennenlotter, though. This flick is was clearly made JUST for his dedicated fan base and he lets us have it with both barrels, no doubt! Still, I couldn't help but find the movie a tad sluggish and the primary gags sort of stopped being as interesting or amusing as they were earlier on. Despite it all, we've still got angry cocks, a POV shot from a vagina, a deformed dick baby, pussy-faced models, and a hooker having THE longest orgasm EVER! All the offensive shit you'd want from a Hennenlotter film to keep you entertained. I didn't find it quite as awesome as "Brain Damage" or "Frankenhooker", but I seriously hope Frank continues on from here...
