Duncan (Ken Marino of REAPER, PARTY DOWN) is a businessman who suffers from serious gastro-intenstinal problems. He goes to the doctor and there's something weird in his bowels. They tell him it's a polyp. The doctor attributes this to stress but Duncan is in denial about anything stressful in his life. But stressful it is. When he goes to work he's demoted from being an accountant to working in the human resources department, where he must fire people. An his new office is a converted restroom which still has the toilets in it. Then, when he goes to his mother's for dinner with his wife she invites over a fertility doctor because she believes her son can't get his spouse pregnant.
He continues to have terrible bowel issues--and one night he passes out on the toilet, soon after his co-worker informs him that he accidently erased a year's worth of work from his computer. It's then that someTHING comes out of his asshole--and horribly slays this co-worker. Duncan goes to therapy and it's under hypnosis that he finds out that a monster emerges from his asshole. It looks a bit like one of the Muppets from DINOSAURS crossed with ET. The therapist believes that this is a manifestation of his subconscious. Of course, there are more deaths. And Duncan learns that his condition may be hereditary...
This is an entertaining horror comedy with a rather unique monster. Think BASKET CASE crossed with KILLER KONDOM. Recommended.
