Well, if I have said it once, I have said it a million times... genetic tampering with animals always ends up getting people killed. It is no different with bats, as we see in this film. A bat expert is called in to Texas when a local couple is killed by bats, only she does not believe it. She later becomes a believer when she finds out that some genetically enhanced bats are on the loose and spreading the virus to other bats in the area. With the help of Sherrif Lou Diamond Phillips, they have to figure out a way to stop the bats before the Government steps in. I don't recall seeing any blood in the film, which may have gone a long way in helping this one. Not the greatest film in the world, but I always make it a point to see killer animal flicks.
