This movie has a decent enough premise going for it, I just hated the lack of real FX and the bloodlessness of it all. A team is studying the loch trying to prove some theory or another when a quake widens a fissure at the bottom of the lake. You know what happens there after I would hope. Big monster is loose and people start to die and disappear. The monster looks alright if you own a playstation 2 and the attacks are speedy enough. I personally would rather watch In Search of myself though. This could have been so much better. Still, with the lack of Nessie films out there, I guess it's surprising to see a film on the subject at all. It beats out watching the Discovery channel, but not by much. Where were the hot Scottish women at here? Anyway, there were monster eggs, fossil eggs, a small monster which I think was suppose to be Nessie who got bit and died, and a huge dinosaur thingy. Worth 90 minutes of your time, but not a lot more.
