Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman
This second reunion movie is not as good as the first, which is not saying much. The thing is, Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner are in this about fifteen minutes. The rest of the movie is about a young woman named Kate Mason (Sandra Bullock), who has received a new type of bionics that has enabled her to walk. She still has her original legs, it just augmented them. There's an organization who wants to mess up The World Unity Games in Toronto, so she goes undercover on the racing team. Two men are interested in her, Oscar Goldman's nephew (Jeff Yagher) and agent Allan Devlin (Geraint Wyn Davies of FOREVER KNIGHT), one of whom may be a double agent.
In a subplot, which is far more interesting, stoic Oscar Goldman (Richard Anderson) quits the OSI and goes undercover to expose a traitor in the US Government who is working with the Soviets.
As with the first reunion movie, this has the feel that it was a pilot for a new Bionic series.
