Blade is back and is ready to kick some more vampire ass. In this sequel, Wesley Snipes reprises his roles as Blade... the half-man, half-vampire daywalker with an axe to grind. But this time, Blade must put aside his quarrel with the vampires and form an uneasy alliance with them. He teams up with the vampire council against a common enemy, The Reapers... who are a rare mutation of the vampire species. These Reapers feed off of humans, but they also feed off of vampires...and those they feed on are transformed into Reapers themselves. This makes them number one on the vampire hit list and for Blade as well.Blade teams up with a group of elite vampire warriors coined The Bloodpack. These fighters are trained in weapons and combat and were originally put together to take out Blade. Now he must work with them and try to put aside their differences for a common goal... ridding the world of The Reapers. He also teams up again with Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), his vampire hating, weapons specialist.Once again they have come out with a very good film and have managed to mix horror and action into a winner. The production value was high again and the acting was pretty spot on... with some great supporting players. The special effects were top-notch, as they were in the original... and the action sequences were fast and furious. A great second film in this trilogy and is a must see for those who liked the original Blade.
