He's back! Herschell Gordon Lewis brings forth the sequel to his notorious, pioneering gore film in the very near future, nearly forty years after the original. Thanks to a special screening at Cinema Wasteland, I'm proud to have seen it. It was impressive, a film in which all things are done to the extreme. Tremendous amounts of gore, blood, nudity, in-jokes, far out names and characters, and cool music flooded the screen for ninety-six minutes. WOW! Fuad Rameses' grandson takes over where granpa left off after being possessed by the powers from the statute of Ishtar. Your jaw will drop just at the names of the chicks and cops involved in the story. It all works like a charm. Is it bloody and grotesque like its predecessor? You're damn right it is. Blood Feast 2 proves a worthy successor. There were some hot chicks shedding the threads for our amusement, which gets my highest praise. Hopefully, this will jade a whole new generation of horror/gore fans around the world. You couldn't help but feel a sense of fun and excitement while watching B.F.2. I hope this film gets plenty of attention and plenty of viewers, not to mention a successful profit margin. H.G. deserves it! Blood Feast 2 brings over-the-top madness, mayhem, and catering as only Herschell Gordon Lewis can do it. It's good to have you back Mr. Lewis. Thanks again! See this at all costs, trust me.
