Director Uwe Boll successfully undoes everything I liked about his first BLOODRAYNE movie. This bad sequel that takes place in the Old West, which is not that original an idea to begin with (SUNDOWN, AFTER SUNDOWN, et cetera). Director Boll (HOUSE OF THE DEAD) portrays the evil vampire, Billy the Kid, and does a decent enough job as the ratty-looking vampire desperado. However, Natassia Malthe (SKINWALKERS) is no Kristanna Loken and can't carry the movie. Michael Pare (EDDIE & THE CRUISERS, PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT) also pops up as a cowboy vampire hunter Pat Garret. Of course, everyone wants to stop Billy the Kid and it's up to Rayne and her crew to save the day. There's hardly any gore or special effects and the vampires are underwhelming. If you liked the first movie then you should avoid this.
