Natassia Malthe reprises her role as the vampire Bloodrayne. In a voice-over at the beginning, she talks about how Hitler is a worse monster than any vampire and how she's fighting against the Nazis during World War II. She has a group of human freedom fighters on her side. The bad guy is Michael Pare as Commandant Ekart Brand, a horrible-miscasting. She thinks she kills him at the beginning of the film by running a pike through him--but he comes back as a vicious vampire. There's also Clint Howard as Dr. Mangler, a scientist (channeling "Dr Frankenstein" from Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD) performing experiments on captured vampires. This is the worst of the three BLOODRAYNE movies. It's as if no one involved was really trying, this go-round.
