The first half of this sequel (which REALLY needed John Belushi) pretty much stayed in the same reality as the first movie. After that, though, director John Landis decided to go off in a weird tangent, with The Blues Brother's Band playing at a contest in Lousiana run by a voodoo priestess. There's lots of people floating around, disappearing and reappearing-and at one point she even turns Akroyd and his fellow singers into green zombies. I saw this a few days ago and still don't know what to quite think of it. Just weird...
