In Eric Red's directorial debut, a criminal psychologist, Bill Chrushank (Jeff Fahey) loses his arm in a car accident. He gets a replacement limb. Soon, the arm begins having a life of its own--and other recipients are killed, their transplants ripped from them. He learns that all these body parts came from the same donor--an executed serial killer. Dr. Agatha Web (Lindsay Duncan of Rome) is the doctor responsible for the experimental surgeries to begin with and she's helping the killer reconstitute himself. This is an intense horror thriller, though the scene in which the serial killer is walking down the street trying to carry his limbs always makes me chuckle. Recommended.
