A computer guy is sent to South Africa on a job. Once on 'The Darkest Continent' he has to take a truck across the desert to where he has to go. Unfortunately a previous truck has disappeared and so the group he's travelling with has to make a not-so-quick detour to figure out what happened to them. They find their bodies, all the skin removed, just bones. And it seems as if someTHING starts following their vehicle as well. Well, something is-a horrific looking creature that was accidently unearthed by the recently departed. One by one everyone starts being consumed by this creature...The monster is very effective-black, kind of ape-like in form, with these human skulls and pieces of bone imbedded in its flesh. But later in the movie, when it dissolves into ants and then back to a human-esque shape it's a bit farfetched. And why is it that these bug movies always have to have 'The Queen'-and make it a plot point that they have to kill the queen in order to kill the whole colony? It's beyond cliche.
