This is one of those movies where all of the teenagers appear as if they are in their mid-twenties, which seriously detracts from the movie. And although actress Samantha Mumba was good in THE TIME MACHINE remake, she's badly miscast here as the love-interest of the zombie boy.
First, what I liked. The idea of the mother bringing back her son, Leon, from the dead is a twist. She's is an art restorer and stumbles upon a hidden alcove of supernatural paraphernalia, which includes a spell for resurrecting the dead. When her son hangs himself, she brings him back, though he starts deteriorating. He also attacks the school bully, who becomes a flesh-craving zombie and starts attacking and changing the other students, until there's a bunch of them.
