First, I've enjoyed the original three CABIN FEVER films, particularly the second one. They all had widely different scenarios and make up one cohesive story. So I have one question about this movie- Why the hell did they decide to remake this? Rather than UpState New York, seems to be out in the Mountains in West Virginia, somewhere where the Rednecks speak with Southern accents. The five friends are more irritating, they do a lot of stupid shit and the special effects are sub par compared to the original. Far inferior remake of the Eli Roth movie.
