This is THE cannibal film, hands down. The king of the sub genre festered in the late 7o's. Ya see for some reason Italian exploitation filmmakers fell in love with zombies & cannibals way back when. Lucio Fulci was the god of the zombie stuff & Ruggero Deodato was the king of the cannibal. This film was banned in more countries than you can shake a severed arm at, that alone made it a cult favorite. Ultrabrutal, violent, & gory, this one left nothing to the imagination & no sick act untouched. Ya get rape, wooden dildo death, flesh eating, gut chewing, some more rape, sex while a poor savages village burns, & plenty of animal mutilation that probably caused the director more trouble than anything else. If you haven't seen this or are new to cannibal films or just wanna see one, this is the best to view. Makes pussyfied films made in the last few years shit their pants. Pop this tape in at a family get togther & watch the room & house clear. This type of filmmaking is gone forever i'm afraid, so watch a piece of history a.s.a.p.!
