If someone asked me to sum up Cannibal Holocaust in just one word, I would have to say brutal. Brutality is the name of the game with this little horror classic. Death is only a ritualistic slaying away for for the unfortunate victims in this flick. Plenty of gore in this one with enough realism to make even the most hardcore horror fan say 'holy shit'. An expedition is sent to recover some lost film footage from a crew that didnt quite make it back from this savage land full of cannibals. They find more than they bargained for from these native cannibal tribes. Not recommended for a ''dinner and a movie' showing. A very sick film that may be hard to swallow for some.
