An acting troupe, led by their perverted leader, invade an old graveyard and dig up one of the corpses named Orville, in hopes of bringing him back to life with an ancient witchcraft spell. As far as the director (Alan Ormsby) is concerned, this is all an elaborate practical joke on the actors--but it backfires and he really manages to resurrect the dead--and they're not very happy about it. They come out of the ground in traditional zombie fashion and then commence to rip them all apart. Good zombie makeup, effective use of slow motion and a real downer of a mood that is created. A classic zombie movie, made only a few years after NOTLD.
