Although I like the special effects, particularly the centaurs, special effects aren't enough to hold this movie together or keep my interest for over two hours. The four kids are back to Narnia and discover they've been gone over a thousand years. Humans have overrun the land and the Narnian creatures have gone into hiding. There's a prince, however, who may be able to change the way things are, but his uncle wants to kill him. So he runs away to the forest, befriends the creatures and meets up with the kids. Together, they have a plan to put him in power, blah blah blah. There are lots of bloodless battles and the way the movie ends it's as if none of this fairytale happened to begin with.
The three things I liked...the centaurs, Peter Dinkleman (THRESHHOLD, ELF) as one of the dwarves and the Regina Spektor song.
