Clones ranks, to me, as the king of the Bruceploitation films! The whole concept of the British S.B.I. taking a sample of Bruce Lee's DNA shortly after his demise and creating 3 clones to use as special agents is a hoot. The clones look nothing like their donor and two of the goofs are played by cinema's most notorious Bruce Lee impersonators in Bruce Le and Dragon Lee. You throw Bolo Yeung into the mix with a few more notable faces from martial art's films exploitation scene and you get some classic scenes and characters. The Bruces all get sent on separate missions to stop various silly shit and crime. Luckily for us, Bruce 2 & 3 get sent to some nude beach and we get to see some hot ass Thai chicks running around naked, totally disproving the myth about Asian women and small tittys. After crushing all the global threats (yeah, right), the Dr. who created the trio gets a little power hungry and decides to turn the Bruces all to his own use. Two cute nurses put a stop to his evil plan and help the clones escape and fight the Doctor's henchman to the death. Unfortunately, wimpy Bruce 3 dies when hit by the death-lights (?), I mean the flashing bulbs on each side of a cardboard wall. Poor clone. The other two win the day and the mad Dr. runs right into the lovely nurses, who order the government agents to arrest him. His one last great evil statement...'Let go of my arm'. Now folks, that is true evil genius. Three totally different looking clones, bad acting, worse fighting, hot Asian tits, and three pairs of the coolest (or worst) sunglasses you'll ever see make Clones of Bruce Lee a true gem for Bruceploitation fans. I use to hate these damn Bruce Lee rip-offs, now I love to laugh at the shit. Films like Bruce Lee: His Last Days, His Last Nights, Bruce Lee Fights Back from the Grave, and Bruce Lee: The Man, The Myth all can make a strong case for top honors, but Clones is the shit!
