Next to the first three Terminator movies, I consider this John Millius directed movie Arnold's best film--and he looks exactly like Conan should. James Earl Jones is a great villain in portraying Thulsa Doom (though Thulsa is a Kull villain, not a Conan one!). The supporting cast, especially Sandahl Bergman (All That Jazz, Red Sonja) as Valeria is great, as is William Smith (Track of the Vampire) as Conan's father. The only thing I don't like about this movie is part of Conan's origin, where he's hooked up to pushing a big wheel. It reminded me too much of Hercules in The Three Stooges Meet Hercules, for some reason, where the skinny guy gets big muscles as time goes by.
