"Wild Bill" (Brad Johnson) is a cowby drifter in the Old West who comes across a big swarm of copperhead snakes slithering towards a remote town. He goes there, expecting to meet up with a friend, but finds that the friend had been shot by the local bad guy (Bill Drago), who is still hanging out at the saloon where he shot the guy. Wild Bill is coerced to join a game of Poker and warns them all that the snakes are on their way but no one believes him. This movie works far better as a western than it does as a killer animal/snake movie as all the snakes are computer generated and look as threatening as a drawing.
This is not to be confused with the 80's snake movie COPPERHEAD: THE SNAKE movie, which is much better and uses actual snakes.
