It takes a lot of talent to make this ensemble of actors, which includes Dina Meyer (SAW III) and Frank Whaley (VACANCY) look like a bunch of lost first year acting students and CRAZY EIGHTS succeeds in doing just that.
Take your typical group of dysfunctional people with a "terrible secret" and put them in an abandoned mental hospital with a crazed ghost-entity and see what happens. You can pretty much guess. The primary thing that irritated me is that the story hinges on what happened to these characters twenty-years ago, when they were kids, but all these actors are nearer to forty than thirty years old. It's also quite boring.
There's no need to see this flick unless you're into some self-punishing.
