Someone is killing the serial killers and one detective (Patrick Muldoon) starts investigating these strange homicides, accompanied by his woman partner (Cathy Moriarty). He is part of an organization called S.K.A.T.-Serial Killer Apprehension Team.He tracks down a serial killer known as 'The Silencer' (A shaven-headed C.Thomas Howell), who works at a flowershop-and suspects this man will be the next victim. It turns out that it's not just a serial killer doing all of this-it is the people he works with, who have turned vigilante. The captain of the team (Thom Thomerson) wants him to join them-but after he sees them cold-bloodedly kill an unarmed man, he has second thoughts. So they try to permanently silence him. They also kill his mentor (Fred Ward), who has been helping him via the computer. There are a few unexpected double crosses, such as his partner being one of the vigilantes. There are better serial killer killer movies out there, like HUNTING HUMANS, but this is worth seeing just for the good cast.
