Tobe Hooper must have decided that Eaten Alive wasn't going to be his only film with a large reptilian menace. The above mentioned film is a fuckin' classic, where as this one is spotty at best. Now I love all killer animal flicks & will sit thru any, but was kinda hoping for more from this due to the name attached to it. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, bloody, and has good cheesy fx, but I would have liked to seen a real film. It could have been so much more. With digital effects getting cheaper & peoples work ethics getting smaller, I feel like real special fx work is kinda going down the toilet. All & all it's still rentable, it's just too damn brightly lit, hahahaha!
