A group of people on a spaceship, on their way to a vacation planet, crash land on a different world. One of them is injured with a compound leg fracture. The pilot stays with her, trying to repair the damaged ship, while the other four explore the surrounding area. The two back at the ship encounter an ape-like alien and manage to seal themselves inside--but there's a limited supply of oxygen. Then the others begin to be stalked. Are these aliens animals or are they intelligent? And why do they hate humans so much?
This is an odd movie. On one hand it's a bit anachronistic-- It's way in the future where space flight to other worlds is possible--yet one character needs an inhaler, someone else may die of an infection and everyone is far too concerned about getting laid. Humanity has not progressed much. On the other hand, it's an interesting story in regard to the aliens and why they're so pissed. There are some cool creatures and effects and the film is unpredictable, so it is worth checking out.
