Recently released domestically as Dead Waters or some crappy title. This movie impressed me to no end when I 1st watched it. I loved the way it looked and the feel it put forth from the screen. This movie has some very cool images in it and an awesome storyline. Very simple really, a young woman goes to a secluded island to see exactly why her fathers is linked to it's strange convent. What she discovers is a twisted nightmare. Her past is also linked to this place along with her family. It was cool watching this thing spiral downward to the end. Mariano Bianno directed this movie and it's a great effort. Has he done anything since? Somebody clue me in.A cast of very strange characters inhabits this weird place and you just kept wondering what the hell is gonna happen next. This things seems to be a bit overlooked by most, wonder why? I wouldn't pass it up if I were you. Even if you have to rent Dead Waters hahahaaha!
