As with the highly derivative zombie 'epic' THE DEAD NEXT DOOR, this current zombie film simply reminds the viewer of all the other, much better zombie movies of the 1970's. A group of low-budget filmmakers (originality!), in the midst of making their own zombie movie, awaken some real life zombies that are coincidently there. The lead zombie bears a strong resemblance to musician Rob Zombie and the other zombies, while nasty-looking, are only concerned with tearing their victims apart (off-camera) and not eating them. There's scenes reminiscent of RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, et cetera, all adding up to about eighty minutes of Zombie re-hash, which would be okay if the movie was entertaining. Director Dave Parker has a cameo as a drugstore clerk, perhaps a role that should be his true vocation.
