From the box art and title you think this will be one sort of movie, namely, a revenge ghost story, when, in fact, it turns out to be about something completely different. The movie begins with a couple driving up to a secluded cabin to meet their friends. Even though they broke up their relationship the night before, they still go out there, much to the dismay of their friends, who simply don't want to deal with that crap. The first night they are bored so they play a game called "Dead Mary", in which they have to look in a mirror and say her name three times. On the third time she is supposed to appear. Several of them do this and something very weird happens. I won't say what happens, but I found it unexpected and it did make what I at first thought a predictable movie, interesting. Let's just say that DEAD MARY is like CABIN FEVER meets EVIL DEAD meets INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. Highly recommended.
