In the future the Earth is uninhabitable due to pollution and nuclear war. A massive ship is in orbit, harboring thousands of people in suspended animation while a small crew makes sure everything is operating okay. One of the security guards, after saving some lives by disobeying orders, is demoted to watching the 'corpsicles' as punishment. But this works in his favor when the ship is taken over by hostile forces, in the form of Matt Frewer as an evil leader. The security guard's girlfriend (Monika Schnarre from WAXWORKS 2 & 3) is a scientist who has a way to purge Earth's atmosphere of its toxicity and make it liveable again. In the end everything works out and there's this hokey 'Adam & Eve' type scenario. C. Thomas Howell provides comic relief. Not the best space movie I've seen but it was a enjoyable ninety minutes.
