This Wes Craven movie doesn't cut it. In fact, it doesn't even cut the cheese. A fifteen-year-old genius moves with his mother to a small town where he can study artificial intelligence at the local university. At first his only friend is the robot he created, named BeeBee. Then he meets a boy his own age--and then the beautiful blonde girl next door neighbor (Kristy Swanson of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER movie). When his robot is destroyed by the evil old lady in the town he freaks out--and soon after his next door neighbor girlfriend is killed by her father. Killing two birds with one stone he decides to resurrect her with the robot's computer chip/memory. Least to say it doesn't work out. Neither does the movie.
