Here's a slow moving pick that is actually pretty good! Fairly simple plot : Vietnam vet comes home to the delight of his parents & sister (to bad he's a decaying, vampiric corpse)! Andy seems a little distant & strange after returning home. Everyone blows it off to the war. Slowly, Dad starts putting the puzzle togther (he also gets fuckin' tired of Andy making all that goddamn noise upstairs in his rocking chair). When Andy kills the family dog in front of a group of neighborhood kids who have come to see him, the shit hits the fan. Things get cool from here on out, especially on Andy's ' date '! This movie is cool, but like I said slow. Thank Tom Savini for the effects (least I think I remember it as his work) & a good ending & you have something long since dead & gone (no, not Andy) a drive-in classic!
