In 2009 Kyle and newly pregnant Rachel Massy agreed to be videotaped for a reality television series, "Delivery", an the footage presented documents that show. It's also coupled with news footage and interviews with people who worked on the show, all hinting that something horrible happened...
Everything is light and bubbly at first, then Rachel gets sick and has to be rushed to the hospital. They think it's another miscarriage--and the doctor cannot detect a heartbeat on two different machines. But Rachel insists they check again--and there is a heartbeat. However, when she gets back home the dog is aggressive towards her and her own behavior begins to change. When they go to look at a house for sale, one of the tenants, an old Armenian woman, starts yelling at her and pointing a knife at her pregnant belly. Later we find out she was yelling "devil". The once happy couple begin to fight because she wants to get rid of their pet, who is growling and urinating on her pillows. Ultimately, she ends up doing something terrible to the golden retriever. Rachel is also working on some weird paintings, which involve someone named "Alastor". She's staying up all night, acting weird, sleep walking and saying "Alastor's coming".
I'm not a fan of reality shows whatsoever so I was a bit reluctant about this movie at first--but it is convincing and works as both a supernatural and psychological horror film. Recommended.
