The latest entry in the evil kid genre is a cross between RACE WITH THE DEVIL , IT'S ALIVE and GARGOYLES. Unfortunately, it does not meld together well. The acting and effects are okay, but the overall film is flat in momentum and murky in appearance-and some scenes seem to go on forever. A great deal of the action takes place in a moving camping vehicle and the shots are rock solid, no bumping around from the road. It broke the illusion of where the characters were supposed to be. The point-of-view shots of the demon child became monotonous as well. The only thing this movie did for me was make me sleepy.
