Jeremy London and Katherine Heigl (ROSWELL, GREY'S ANATOMY) portray modern-day descendents of Edgar Allen Poe. London is a writer and Heigl is this sort of aimless woman who becomes sexually interested in him. Their involvement starts to mimic a tragedy that happened during their ancestor's time-but will it happen again?The script seemed a bit too forced, the movie contrived and Heigl has this really weird hairdo that's actually distracting. DESCENDENT is another forgettable serial killer movie.
