This animated feature is not to be confused with the Fred Olen Ray movie (1994) of the same title. Although it's a family oriented picture it's still an interesting adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's THE LOST WORLD.As part of a new reality show, four teenagers are chosen to participate in a SURVIVOR type television show. They are Alex, Leo, Jackie and Margaret, representing four different races (Chinese, African-American, Hispanic, Caucasian). But on the way to their destination their plan is caught in an electrical storm and they are forced to parachute out into the jungle. They land on an isolated mesa inhabited by all sorts of dinosaurs, including Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Pteranodons, Raptors and T-Rex.Their biggest problem comes in the form of prehistoric humans, Homo Habilis. Trapped between an angry tribe and a Tyrannosaurus, they have to find a way to escape...Although it's a family oriented picture it's still an interesting and entertaining adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's THE LOST WORLD.
