A television animal expert, Jonathan Marchant, who is sort of like the Crocodile Hunter guy, goes with a tv crew to the Congo in search of a dinosaur. His teenaged son stows away in the helicopter. The craft is attacked by pterosaurs and crash lands. The first ground dinosaurs they see are small--but there are quite a few more. The story is basically a reworking of Arthur Conan Doyle's THE LOST WORLD, with some decent CGI. I think this may be the only "found film" dinosaur movie out there and is far better than I imagined it to be.
