Michael Douglas is a computer executive who gets passed up on a promotion. The new person who is hired as his boss is Demi Moore, with whom he used to have a relationship with years ago, before he was married. Everything starts going awry for him when he's told that the new chip he's responsible for developing isn't working as it's supposed to. Then, Moore invites him up for an after-work meeting, where she tries to seduce him. He tries to stop it-knowing that if he refuses her he's likely to lose his job. He ultimately pushes her away and leaves, as she yells 'you're dead!'The next day he's accused of sexually harassing her. But instead of just denying it he presses those same charges against her, which is true. Douglas also gets these mysterious emails from 'A friend', who tells him what to watch out for and that the game isn't what he thinks it is. And it isn't.In order to save his job and prove that she's been causing all the trouble with the company he must enter a virtual reality world and access hidden files and recorded meetings. This is pretty cool, and accurate, considering the movie was made over a decade ago.Based upon the novel by Michael Crichton.
