Four guys rob a bank and flee to the countryside, get into a car accident and take refuge in a nearby house inhabited by a young woman and her near-comatose father. Everything seems a bit off kilter in a sort of Lovecraftian way, until the middle of the movie, then thing REALLY start to get weird.Although remarkably similar in plot and tone of the Italian film GRAVEYARD DISTURBANCE this film is a great example of what low budget, shot-on-video movies should be-entertaining, with good characters and a decent production values. It is also manages to be far scarier and creepy that most Hollywood-lensed horror films from the past several years. The film also features some extremely well done, EVIL-2 inspired special effects involving stop motion and morphs. Director Mike Prosser also portrays one of the bank robbers. One of the best Independent Horror films of 1999.
