The Russ Meyer starlets of yesteryear are BACK! And together in one action-packed...uh, SUPER HEROINE comedy! Move over Spiderman! Hit the road, Batman! It's Kitten Natividad in the red and blue tights that's here to save the day!Co-starring Haji, Raven De La Croix, and Forrest J. Ackerman (editor of FAMOUS MONSTERS), AVENGER follows Chastity Knott (Kitten)as a club owner who finds out she has terminal cancer. To cure it, she seeks out a special plant on a tropical island, where she, uh, graphically ingests the healing potient.Returning home, a rival bar owner is trying to knock off the competition...mainly her! When the bar owner and his three lusty ladies kill off her boyfriend, Chastity becomes...THE DOUBLE-D AVENGER! Endless fights with the bad guys ensue as she uses her huge boobies with superpowers...Of course, this movie is a total slapstick comedy, a salute to the old Russ Meyer films of yesterday morphed with comic book action that director William Winckler loves. The tone is complete camp from beginning to end, and those who are fans of Russ Meyer movies and slapstick comedies will love this movie! It delivers the goods in a fun way, never taking itself seriously and always treading 'tasteful' ground with the gals, if you can believe that. The DVD contains commentaries, trailers, and behind-the-scenes photos.
