This Hollywood movie begins with a man, Will Atenton (Daniel Craig) quitting his City office job to be with his wife and two daughters out in the country. Yet this picture-perfect scenario begins to crumble once his family learns that another family was slain there five years before. There's also someone watching their house--and it may be the killer.
In the first half of the movie we're not sure if the main character is going crazy or not and if he's even seeing reality (like with THE NUMBER 23 or STAY). In the second half we get answers, though they are not presented all that well. There's a dumb ending, complete with fire and explosions, with the revelation of the killer done in Scooby Doo style. The one thing I did like is that this movie is about ghosts, but that's not enough for me to recommend it.
