This independent movie begins with a spoof of the beginning of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, with a brother and sister visiting their mother. They are approached by a zombie, only it's of a cheerleader. The sister is knocked out and the brother runs to the car, where she breaks open the window with a rock and then tells him "I'm collecting donations for our high school basketball team", at which point he faints. Then we go to the lab of Dr. Dreck (Michael Legge), where he's worried about getting a mad scientist grant. He's also talking to a reanimated zombie rat who is a wise ass. The first story recounts him bringing the cheerleader back from the dead. She goes back to visit her parents, who have changed her bedroom into a sewing room and spent her college money on a new car. They aren't exactly excited to see her. She then becomes the Doctor's undead sidekick. In fact, they end up hosting a television show which shows B Movies. This pisses off another host whose show gets bumped to a different time slot and she's out for blood. She also happens to be the evil mother of the station manager.
Towards the end there's this movie within a movie that's a cool homage to William Castle films, complete with some faux 3-D (and 3-D glasses were included with the DVD). Michael Legge has again put together an entertaining independent movie that will have you chuckling throughout.
