In a presumed homage to THE HILLS HAVE EYES, a group of friends are driving through a desolate area of New Mexico in 1974. They stop at a skeezy looking rest stop and one of the girls disappears without a trace. A sinister motorcycle gang shows up and the friends think they have something to do with her disappearance. One of the gang members has a really bad long-hair wig. They all eventually end up in a nearby ghost town where a masked group of people live. This is when we enter "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" territory, when they start chopping people up for food.
Again, I'm getting a bit weary of horror movies that are an amalgamation of much better, "Classic" horror films. They're not nearly as good and almost always a disappointment, which EATERS is.
