A bio-engineering company has created a Tyrannosaurus Rex from their new "Eden Formula". Dee Wallace (CUJO), who is in about a dozen of these horror movies a year it seems, is the scientist in charge of the project and Jeff Fahey (BODY PARTS) is her boss. A group of Corporate Terrorists storm the building and accidently release the dinosaur, which roams around Los Angeles, biting off the heads of its surprised victims.
Overall, this is an entertaining movie, and has the feel of a 1950's American giant monster movie. I liked the stop-motion animation of the T-Rex as well as the giant animatronic head, but the puppet body simply didn't work.
