This is a lackluster dragon movie that had way too much hype. DRAGONSLAYER and both the DRAGONHEART movies are far far better than this contrived action "epic". The biggest problem is that the dragon talks to her rider psychically and for some reason this doesn't translate well on screen. There are no surprises whatsoever in this paint-by-the-numbers movie and it perhaps features the blandest hero this viewer has seen in a long time. » Search Database for Eragon (2006) Seen it?
