This is one of the better 'FANGORIA Presents' movies, about a journalism student who gets involved with a group of vampire game role players. She becomes interested in them through a guy named 'M', with whom she has a sexual interest. Once she starts playing the game she's hooked. The scenes portraying the gamers as the vampires are extremely well-done and creepy, reminding me of DEMONS. The vampires have red or white eyes, lots of fangs, dark veins running beneath their pasty skin and move in an unnatural way. Very effective. As the woman's involvement with her new friends continues, she accompanies them to a party where there may actually be vampires. Her boyfriend,'M' suspects that not everyone is human, particularly the party's host who is a guy named 'Dahmer'. In an earlier scene he saw Dahmer actually transform into a creature.Since the movie goes back and forth between the vampire scenes, the role players and the 'real' vampires, the viewer is never quite certain what is going on. It's hinted at that 'M' may be hallucinating, so that's always in the back of your mind when watching it, right up until the ending, which does not disappoint. ETERNAL BLOOD is a fast-paced, quirky vampire movie with plenty of gore, monsters and unpredictability. From MTI home video.
